WHYP
The mission of Westside Homeless Youth Partners (WHYP) is to create an open, supportive forum for committed providers throughout the Los Angeles Westside communities to identify collaborative ways to engage and empower young people managing housing instability and homelessness.
This group is run by Safe Place for Youth (SPY), the lead Youth Coordinated Entry System (YCES) Agency on the Westside, and brings together youth providers across SPA 5 to brainstorm, identify system gaps and problem solve as a coalition. WHYP currently convennes monthly on the second Friday from 2:30-3:30 pm at SPY's Access Center in Venice. Agenda items regularly include new staff/partner introductions, YCES updates, program announcements, and resource sharing. If you are interested in attending, and/or joining the email list-serve, please email Mischa DiBattiste, YCES Regional Manager | SPA 5 at [email protected]. *In efforts to diminish the spread of COVID-19 and to adhere to social distancing practices, this meeting is currently being held through ZOOM. |
